CHCS run a variety of Events and we publish the papers of these on this website (in our Members Area).

Events over the last couple of years include:

• 23 January 2008, "REACH - the countdown is on ... Preparing for Pre-Registration"

• 8 November 2007 - AGM and Talks at HSE, London

• REACH in Practice. Thursday 19th July 2007 at the Stanneylands Hotel, Wilmslow. This event focussed on practical implementation. The event looked at the REACH timeframe and the issues that need to be tackled. The event included short presentations, break-out groups and discussion in syndicate 'groups' to address some key subject matters.

• 14 November 2006 - AGM and Talks at Shell Stanlow Plant

• 27 September 2006 - Proposed new EU Classification and Labelling Regulation at the Manor Hotel, Meriden between Coventry and Birmingham, CV7 7NH. This proposed Regulation will in due course require the review of ALL chemical classifications, the revision of ALL dangerous chemical supply label, and the revision of ALL safety data sheets.

• 18 July 2006 – Security in the transport of dangerous goods seminar at The National Space Centre in Leicester. This seminar came on the 1st anniversary of the introduction of requirements relating to security in the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
