CoronaVirus / COVID-19Statement Updated On 19 May 2020In response to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to update you on how CHCS is responding to the challenges this raises. Face-To-Face Training Courses We are changing all of our 2020 training to live, on-line presentations. These will each be two morning-only sessions, with each session corresponding to half the day of a face-to-face presentation (apart from Module 16, which will be 4 sessions). Because of that split, the dates will differ from those previously published and may even not match the published day at all. It will be possible to register on-line, but if you want further information, or to make a manual registration, please contact enquiries@chc.org.uk. AGM We are at present continuing our preparations for the November AGM and Annual Lectures, however we are keeping a watching brief and considering alternative formats should this become necessary. Webinars Our Member Services Committee are working on a programme of webinars to help fill some of the gaps created by the suspension of CHCS and other events. We’ll be in touch soon with details of the first few events and how to book. See our Events page for the current list of scheduled webinars. Q&A Forum You may not be able to get out and network directly with colleagues, but don’t forget that you can always use the CHCS Forum to get answers to questions you may have, or even start a debate (on a chemical hazard communication matter of course!). If you have any questions, or suggestions for us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Gill Pagliuca CHCS Chair | CHCS NewsCHCS Webinar: Canada Consumer Chemical Product Labelling |
