Webinar: Dangerous Goods To And From The USA:  Can The Americans Be Serious?

We are pleased to present a webinar on a topic area often requested by CHCS members: the requirements for shipments of dangerous goods to and from the United States of America.

The webinar will discuss each of the various ways in which the USA’s Department of Transportation has said imports and exports had better follow their own additional requirements.  The list includes, Hazardous Substances & RQs, Combustible Liquids, Inhalation Hazards, Aerosols, Toxic When Wet, Lithium Batteries, Pharmaceuticals and Medicines, Marine Pollutants, and phone numbers on shipping documents.

Our Presenter: Gene Sanders, W.E Train Consulting

With over 25 years of extensive exposure working with Dangerous Goods in pharmaceutical, safety supplies, chemical, educational, waste, and clinical trials environments, Gene Sanders is knowledgeable in DOT (49CFR), ICAO (IATA), IMO (IMDG Code), TDG, ADOT (ADG), and ADR.  Gene has university degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry, and holds or has held DGSA, CDGP, CDGT, CIT and CET professional certifications.  He has been an emergency responder, a volunteer fireman, spoken at many conferences, testified as an expert witness at the MSC Flaminia trial, and continues to be a regular columnist for HCB (Hazardous Cargo Bulletin).
