Job Title: Product Safety Specialist - Maternity Cover (6 Months)

General Summary

This role is responsible for providing the regulatory prerequisites (SDS and label documents, Compliance Certificates etc.) that are required for our product lines. This includes new formulations, updates to existing documents and classification changes.

The role will involve significant collaboration with internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will receive initial and ongoing product and SDS database training.

Essential Job Functions: Product Compliance

  1. Responsible for creating CLP SDS’s and labels.
  2. Validate all products in compliance with relevant national and regional rules and regulations.
  3. Responding to a wide variety of customer regulatory compliance questions.
  4. Complete Poison Centre Notifications requests.
  5. Manage multiple priorities concurrently and set priorities to meet customer and business demands in a fast-changing, results-oriented environment.
  6. Maintain registered product regulatory compliance.
  7. Any additional responsibilities, as assigned, according to the defined functional and business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of EU chemical global harmonized system CLP.
  2. Well organised. Able to work under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through.
  3. Motivated and self-driven.
  4. Support our commercial and operations teams, manufacturing sites.
  5. Flexible to deal with priority changes whilst managing the quality, accuracy and timeliness of documents deliverables.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    1. 5+ years experience in SDS production for the chemical industry.
    2. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, science or equivalent, preferred.

    Endocrine Disruptors - 1st CHCS Video
